Hello! Welcome to my website. I'm Linda J. Barth, author of the children's picture book Bridgetender's Boy. I live in Somerville, New Jersey with my husband, Bob, my biggest supporter and best editor. Bob and I are active in the Canal Society of New Jersey, one of the largest historical societies in the state. In addition, we own a small travel company, Canal Tours & More, through which we offer tours of historic sites in New Jersey. We often combine our interest in canals with our writing to produce travel articles and books. Two of our volumes for Arcadia Publishing are The Delaware and Raritan Canal and The Delaware and Raritan Canal at Work. I am a retired fourth-grade teacher, currently substituting in the Bridgewater- Raritan Regional School District in Somerset County, New Jersey.
